Suruchi Sangha built its reputation on a simple idea: every year the pandal becomes a study of one Indian state, made with artisans invited from that region.

The approach has turned the puja into an informal craft residency, and visitors move through the structure as they would through a well-curated exhibition.

Queues are long after sunset; early morning visits are recommended for photography.
